Hello. I am a junior at the University of Pennsylvania. Beginning in high school, and now in college, I have amassed a tremendous amount of experience as a tutor, both paid and volunteer. I can help students who want to attend elite universities with their admission essays because I have that same experience. I know how competitive it is and can bring that to my work as a tutor. I work at the on-campus Critical Writing Center, and I was recently recognized for my writing skills. At the center, I work with students, both undergrads and grads, to improve their professional and academic writing. I help them with logical coherence, grammar-based proofreading, persuasiveness, and overall editing. I am lucky in that I love what I do, especially building relationships with students who come back multiple times. I can help any student who wishes to improve their college writing, especially their application essays. I can also provide tutoring in many subjects, including Algebra 1 and 2, Calculus 1 and 2, Geometry, Pre-Calc, Chemistry, German, Reading, Literature, and Grammar and Mechanics. I can also help students prepare for standardized tests such as the PSAT and SAT. I live in Metuchen, New Jersey. I like to read and watch movies.
